And the E/W version look more like the "N" word then WGF's ...   Not to mention E/W's will be available  soon ...  WGF has given us NO release date.  And when(if?) we do see them I'm betting it won't be until some time in 2010 ...

Behead the beasts - only way to be sure :), oh and keep them away from iron rich suppliments or fluids.

Anemic toasters?

Are Andrayada 'iron rich?'

I can envision some interesting toaster v. toaster scenarios there: kind of the equivalent of Chitin:I

By the way, speaking of Otterman's idea about scenery -- any thoughts about producing casualty markers a la GW's Warmaster casualty markers?

RE: Andrayada - I'd love to see them battling away, though that does raise the alarming prospect of the modelling equivilent of an arms race with Doug and the Andrayada have a pretty potent head start with there gorgeous war engines.

Casualty markers are a superb idea, cheap to design as well.

Well Andiods vs. Andriods is certainly an interesting idea !!!  As far as AFVs ... there were some here working on "N"-like vehicle models ... :alien:

Background wise, I see no problems with the Edenites using Guild vehicles at least until they evolve there own unique methods of transport.

For the customer, such an arms race sounds quite attractive! Of course the problem for Edenites vs. Andrayada is that the Edenites would need some sort of 'shredder' to make the Andrayada's iron more 'chewy.'

--- I'm feeling more and more sorry for the original toasters: caught between enslavement and dietary supplement.

Which ones?

Wargames Factory have said they will produce the sprue but not committed to any time scales as yet. I'm periodically update the forum thread over there to keep it on the front page.

That's kind of a strange thing to say isn't it? That could mean anything.

It's like saying I'm definetly going to give a million bucks to every living person on the planet, but it may or may not be after my death.  I'm still going to do it though, definetly.  :oo:

Surely if people have invested money (however little) they deserve some kind of time frame? Even if it's a year from now, at least it would suggest some kind of closure.

To be honest I was mildly surprised they committed to produce the sprue.

As a new company who's target market is the 28mm historical market to have a single 6mm sci-fi line looks a little odd. I know they are making zombies but they seem to be the big thing in gaming right now!

I'm very surprised too, considering how they struggled to reach the 1000 $1 down payments.

And now EW are going to have some skeletal robots too....

Still if you want to take down payments then you need to make a commitment.  Many businesses invest in creating products without any investment at all.
