Great comments. I totally agree.

We found that the GL could quickly turn into an "uber artillery piece" if you're not careful.

Most of us tried the Grenade launcher once or twice, then discarded it mostly because of the insane scatter rules.  That, and I still get frustrated that you cant pop one over a wall, or detonate  it over top someone in cover, like a real grenade launcher could.

Hmmm....could you maybe create a house rule to make a 'nade launcher act like it should and less like a missile launcher?  Maybe reduce the range, but allow you to fire indirect?  Or would that be too 'uber' ?

I think the level of "Uber-cheese" would depend on how you wrote the rules.

I will say that I belive that in a skirmish game, it is too easy to abuse things like Inderect.
