Anyone heard from Carl Woodrow lately? He seems to have dropped off the face of the 'net. |

nope I have sent him an email or two and normally we talk about his schedules of work and how busy he is. He had mentioned that it was going to be hectic with work but maybe he didnt realise just how busy. |

I suppose so. I tried to send a mail to the Dropship Editor but it bounced.I guess the box is full of mails from people who want to know when the site is updated. Anyway I hope he takes his time to relax every now and then too. It'd be a horrible loss to the Epic community if Carl was to get burned out!  Cheers!

Sorry to bump an old thread. Hmmm... Still no word from Carl? The site hasn't been updated since April except for what appears to be some minor reshuffeling in October but no real updates. ..."What's he building in there..." (sorry about the poor Tom Waits quote.... couldn't resist  )I guess with all the hustle with Fanatic things must be a bit hectic at the moment..  Cheers!

it is rather quiet on his side. I emailed him privately and there hasnt been a reply. He did say he was busy and would only be able to turn up to the April epic tournament but otherwise he is fully booked up.

The sad thing is, real life has a way of messing with hobby fun. I, myself, have been working 12+ hour days, still working with my 7 year old to get her to school every morning, trying to sleep (I have something wrong where I wake three or four times a night), and it leaves very little for all of my other needs (Wife, Kids, hobby, etc.) dafrca |

I'm hearing you guys - its like the "youth is wasted on the young" argument - free time is also. ? I'd have killed for the increased funding that I have now back when I was a poor Uni student with heaps of time to game, and now I want the time I used have to game and enjoy what I could buy now. Sorry for beating a dead horse here but I just popped by Dropship for the first time in months. Still no updates! ?By now it is more than a year since anything has been updated. *** Has Carl taken a prolonged break from the Epic hobby or is he just really busy? *** I certainly hope he isn't burned out or anything; such a brilliant mind and source of inspiration would be (and is) deeply missed. So: Anybody heard anything? Cheers!
