Hi, Having redesigned blastmarker.com again (!) and hopefully made it a bit more user friendly, I've begun to upload stuff onto it. Although a number of pages are yet to be filled (don't worry, I'll get there eventually), I have put up my Epic Space Marine User Guide which I hope will be useful to someone out there in Epicland. However, whilst I have tried to put text into most of the entries on the list, I still need to fill some with tactics, etc. So this is a call for help from anyone who is interested. Here is the link before I go into what I need: Epic Space Marine Guide My plan is to create a few paragraphs for every formation available to the Space Marines, including how useful each of the upgrades are to the unit and any prime tactics that should be employed by them to succeed in games. I really want something which will help newbies decide what units to take, how to outfit them and then how to utilise them. (Not too much to ask! ![]() I've tried to put comments and tactics in for the majority of units and formations, even if some of them are really obvious, and plan to add more later. However, there are a few formations that I havn't used before or havn't had the chance to really exploit in games yet, that I would appreciate some help in completing an entry for. If anyone could take a look and either post comments and additions here or email them to me directly (put something relevant in the subject line or my computer will probably junk it), I would me most appreciative (and would obviously credit people where appropriate). If anyone has any thoughts to add to any of the entries then please tell me, the more the better. ![]() This is no doubt going to be a long-term project, so hopefully if I can get the Space Marine page up to a good level, I will do a similar thing with the Orks, IG and Eldar soon. Don't be too concerned with the layout or page design at the moment, I'm planning to put each formation into it's own box to clean it up and make it a lot clearer. On a side note, if anyone has any scenarios, articles or similar (preferably aimed at newbies) that they think would be a good read, please feel free to send me them and I can post them up. Cheers in advance, Freshmetal |

Excellent idea for the site, I bookmarked it and will check its progress. Don't be too concerned with the layout or page design at the moment, I'm planning to put each formation into it's own box to clean it up and make it a lot clearer. |

Just bumped the font up a size to make it more readable. This is one thing thats been a problem before (looks ok on my Mac, bit small on PC), but I shall sort out a fix when I clean up the page. Thanks for notes too CorwinB, I shall add them in when I have time. Cheers, Freshmetal |

Whops; I missed this one! Nice looking site. I can't wait to see more (piccies! hint, hint ![]() ![]() One detail though: when I view it full screen the sidebar and main text overlaps. Not a big problem (and I''m running a large monitor at 1600x1200 so the problem won't occur to very many people) so I wouldn't really bother to fix it. I supppose it has something to do with how the browser reads the position of the text (percents of screen width) Anyway: Keep up the good work: It is really great with so many new epic sites lately! ![]() Cheers! ![]() |

I shall be adding and editing stuff for the rest of this week, then will hopefully do a weekly update from there on. Enjoy. ![]() Cheers, Freshmetal |
