An update over on the SG site; http://www.specialist-games.com/
Necromunda will be the next 'featured game' (yay!).... and the 'player recruitment' idea is a good one....

Hi!
Necromunda is perhaps the only non-GW in recent memory that I played and liked. The other one being MoW. OF course if we really turn back the clock, Space Hulk and BB would crop up too.
Those were the days....
...sigh....

Primarch | Isn't BB now fully available again with free rule downloads as well?
I remember playing both these, first edition space hulk was better than second ed, but second edition blood bowl was much better than first ed...
Actually I played space hulk a few Sundays ago at the 30th anniversery of the local wargaming society - great game.

2nd ed BB is great game. Our gaming club ran a BB league last year. My Orcs just got pipped for a place in the semi final play-offs, on goal difference....
Cheers

Yep, BB is one of the more populaer SGs from what I've heard- it has a great range of models available and good support. As a Necro player, its great to see it getting some more recognition and publicity, it is one of the classic GW games, I love the background and whole concept. although some elements need a few fixes...

Hi!
Is Mordhiem similar to Necromunda, but fantasy based?
I'm more drawn to the fantasy based game due to the background.

Mordheim is Warhammer FB Skirmish with attitude and background.
I've always liked the sound of it, but never played it.
I am going to wait and see what GW are going to do with WHFRP now they are taking it back from Hogshead.
I use to love playing WHFRP.

Hi!
Is GW publishing the RPG's second edition or was it another company?
I bought the original game. Didnt like the mechanics much, but it was a great background with a great character!

Yeah, its the second edition. Hogshead Publishing carried it til a year or 2 ago, and had published a few supplements. It will be interesting to see what GW come up with though....

How different is the current edition of Necromunda from the older one anyway? At least the Wyrd rules seem exactly the same.

As for the WHFRP it seems they are about to reprint a few of the short adventures published in WD in the "Plundered Vaults" book. The grapes of wrath (WD98) is a particular favorite of mine.
