Hi there and welcome to the latest edition of the Forge World newsletter.

Forge World has been a very busy place to work these last few weeks. You see, it was Forge World's fifth birthday three weeks ago, and to celebrate this happy occasion and say a big "Thank you!" for all your enthusiasm and support over the last five years, any mail orders placed with Forge World would be shipped anywhere in the world with free standard delivery. Well all good things must come to an end, so if you still want to take advantage of zero shipping and handling, postage and packing, or whatever else you want to call it, you can continue to do so for just over a week, until July 12th. (If you want to upgrade the delivery of your order to our Express Delivery option then of course you can still do that for the usual cost of ?10.)

So how about us releasing some cool new models while the shipping's still free? Okay then. A couple of newsletters ago we showed you some more beautifully (made?) Warhammer scenery pieces from the desk of Simon Harris. Remember these?
http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/forge.htm http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/bloom.htm
http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/well.htm Simon has also just finished off some really nice stone walls which we are going to make up into a couple of different sets.

Warhammer 40,000 is a universe with almost limitless possibilities for Forge World to make models for. Forge World properly started by making models for the Imperial Guard and they have always proven to be a very popular and characterful army. So it would be no surprise to see more new Imperial Guard models, would it? Take a look here then, http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/trailers.htm Daren Parrwood has made this range of trailers which will opens up a whole pile of modeling opportunities and special gaming scenarios.

All these models are available to order right now at the Forge World online store,
http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/acatalo....11.html
No pre-orders. No waiting weeks for them to be released. They are all available right now!

I'm off on my travels again this month. I'm jetting over to the USA for Games Day Chicago which is on Saturday 31st of July.
http://gamesday.us.games-workshop.com/default.htm The Forge World stand will be smaller than last year, so if you want to buy specific Forge World models at Games Day Chicago, please let us know so we can reserve them for you! We just can't take all of our models to every show anymore! Place your reservations over the phone or via email at forgeworld@games-workshop.co.uk titled "Chicago GD Reservation". I hope to see a lot of you in Chicago in a few weeks.

Anyone want to see some photos of some forthcoming models? Try this!
http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/aquila.htm The master model for the Aquila Imperial Lander was made by Daren Parrwood quite a few months ago. Immediately after finishing the master it was broken into lots of pieces. Why? So it could become some great new plastic scenery in a soon to be released 40K box set. Daren super-detailed the Aquila including adding a gothic style interior to the passenger compartment. This model is BIG! The Aquila has a wingspan of about 400mm! (That's nearly 16 inches in old money.) The model features a clear resin canopy for the observation dome and the main fuselage swings down to the ground to allow the passengers to disembark.

More Imperial Guard anyone? http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/rlsent.htm and
http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/mlsent.htm Daren obviously loves his job. How do I know this? These two Sentinels he made at home in his free time! (He's mad you know!) Both models feature a shield over part of the Sentinel's cockpit to protect the driver from the blast of the rockets and missiles being fired while the Missile Launcher equipped version has a periscope mounted sight to allow it to spot targets from behind cover.

Both the Aquila and the Sentinels should be available from Forge World in the next month or two. We will of course keep you fully up to date via the Forge World newsletter.

One last piece of news. Imperial Armour Volume 2 - Space Marines & Forces of the Inquisition, the second of Forge World's large hardback books is due to be released very soon indeed. The next Forge World newsletter should have lots of details about the book with sample pages for you to view and information on its release date and availability.

That's all for this issue.
Thx,

Ewen Little,
Forge World.

I do like the trailers.

I hope that they release them in Epic scale so that I can convert the tanker versions into fuel tankers for the my Ork Airfield Defence Force and convert others into "large" Skorchas!!!

Trailers! Ooh, with a generator too! What more could an enginseer want (other than, echoing Jimbo, epic scale ones?).
:;):

I'd add them to my Epic inventory. If nothing else they could be in my supply trains as terrain pieces.  Standard mission to raid and destroy enemy supply points and columns ! :D
