++++ MESSAGE BEGINS ++++
Hello again from Forge World! We?ve got quite a bit of news items to go through with you in this issue. New models, some upcoming shows and our new catalogue and online store.
Firstly our new 2004 catalogue is available. All of you who have asked us to send you a catalogue over the past month or so will receive one in the post very soon indeed. If you have not asked for one yet please just send us an email containing your name and postal address to ForgeWorldCatReq@games-workshop.co.uk , NOT our normal email address please folks!
We?ve also changed the look of our website and tied the overall design together with our online store too. On our home page, pride of place is given over to our amazing, soon-to-be-released Bloodthirster. http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/ We?ve added more painted pictures at http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/bloodt.htm Would you believe that only took 5 days to paint?
The online store has had a bit of an overhaul but remains as easy to use as ever. One major change that you?ll notice is that our online store will now work out the shipping and handling for your order. Express Delivery has also become a whole lot easier as we will now upgrade your order to UPS Express or Royal Mail Special Delivery for an additional £10 on top of your regular shipping and handling cost. Orders of £250 or more will still be automatically upgraded to Express Delivery by us here at Forge World for the same price as standard delivery. I still haven?t figured out how to get the computer to do that yet! :-(
All in all, we hope you find the upgraded Forge World online store a lot clearer and easier to use. If you have any questions or queries please just give us a call.
Model Time!
Take a look at this little beauty! http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/warhammerinn.htm This is the latest in a series of Warhammer buildings from Simon Harris. (Remember the Cottage and the Stable I showed you back in February?) Well this new Brettonian style Coaching Inn measures in at a mighty 10 inches/250mm long and 7 inches/175mm tall. The interior is semi-detailed for those of you wanting to easily complete the perfect scene for a bar-fight!
More Epic 40K models today too. Will Hayes spent a good few hours straining his eyes to make absolutely gorgeous Epic 40K versions of the Ork Fighta-Bomma and Ork Bomma. http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/eorka.htm Even the gun turret on the Bomma is a separate piece! I can?t help making 'Whoosh!? noises and making strafing runs over my desk with them!
Can?t really let a newsletter go out without some more new Space Marine bits can we? http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/dreadwep.htm Firstly we have a Multi-melta arm for the standard MkV Dreadnought, to complete the set as it were. Then we have an Assault Cannon arm for the MkIV. These ancient and venerated war machines can now be equipped with weaponry that their more modern peers already enjoy.
We?ve got a busy few weeks ahead of us here at Forge World. In a little over two weeks we?re off to two different shows in different countries on the same weekend! On Saturday April 24th we?re at Salute 2004 http://www.salute.co.uk/saluteframe.htm in London. Salute is one of the very largest wargames shows in the country and one we all enjoy going to. On Sunday April 25th we?ll be in Paris for Games Day France. http://fr.games-workshop.com/evenements ... sday04.asp With a new, bigger venue for this year?s event and the addition of the Forge World Best of Show award to the Golden Demon competition, Games Day France looks to better than ever. If you are going to either of these events and want to reserve an order and collect it there we are more than happy to help. Just email us or give us a phone call with your requirements and we?ll take care of it for you!
That?s all for today. Thx,
Ewen Little, Forge World, Games Workshop, Willow Road, Lenton, Nottingham, NG7 2WS, UK.

Okay that Coaching Inn is really really nice and I want one now.
And as for the Epic Ork aircraft.... they are lovely and I want a squadron now....
Hmmm

Quote (furgie @ 08 2004 April,10:17) | Roll on Salute!
I'm hoping to get the Ork bommerz and my imperial super-heavy tanks. | I would suggest you e-mail them now and ask for them to be held for you, otherwise you may get disappointed.

Hi!
Jimbo, does it take FW real long to make more when they run out of their starting inventory on a resin figure?
How long? If anyone knows....
