The twittersphere says it will be 8mm scale and will be released next year after Blood Bowl is released.

Matrix Games are also at Warhammer Fest and have a banner advertising a new game called Titan Legions:

Hi!

Its nice that they seem to be trying to do "something".

Remains to be seen is that something, is something I'd want. ;)

Ok, not exactly much to show here except the poster below.

However talking to Andy Hoare, Mark Bedford and Chris Drew I can mention the following:

The game is set during the Horus Heresy in the spirit of the original Adeptus Titanicus.
It will begin with just Titans.
The scale will be 8mm - They decided on this scale after 3D printing a Marine, Dread, Leman Russ, Warlord and a Mastodon in three different scales. 8mm was deemed the best as you could see the details to the point of telling different armour marks apart but didn't make the Titans too big.
8mm will make a Warlord around 6" tall (that's what it looked like why Andy Hoare put his hands apart, don't blame me if the final model is smaller or larger...).
The models will be produced in resin by Forge World.
Typical force may be in the region of two Warlords, two Reavers and two-three Warhounds.
More Titan variants are possible.
Down the road infantry and tanks are to be introduced.
Other forces are also possible, this includes Xenos which can be introduced in a themed expansion, e.g. Adeptus Titanicus: Armageddon to bring in the Orks.
Currently the Titans are being 3D modelled by Chris Drew, the Warlord has been done as the 40k version was originally 3D modelled so it was a case of just scaling things down and getting it to work as a model which can be manufactured.

Hi!

I'm betting the final scale will be closer to 10mm. No shocker it would not be 6mm.

I'm not worried about any of that! Just because there is a new rescaled game doesn't mean that all my 6mm epic models will fall to pieces, or that NetEpic/NetEA will suddenly become unplayable. I see it as something that will coexist with the existing stuff.

Great news! Just cos the new models are 8mm doesn't mean it cant be played with 6mm or true scale or whatever.

Most importantly there will be more people out there interested in 40k at a small scale. Can only be a good thing.

I agree completely, what I have, be it GW or FW, is still useable. Hell, the new models can be used without much trouble with the rules we have now.

Good intel malika ! I'd be interested in just seeing 8mm Infantry and vehicles ... just to see what they look like, etc.. The 8mm vehicles will be closer to 6mm as sometimes they can be a bit small. That being said ... I don't think I'll give GW any more of my $$$. I've got too much 6mm sci-fi as it is to paint !!!! :o

I guess 6mm to 8mm isn't too bad; some forumware and 3rd party stuff looks more like 8mm anyway. You wouldn't necessarily mix them in the same formation or army, but a 6mm army fighting an 8mm force will look good enough. Though I might come to regret collecting official old Titan models.

Well as far as Aliens go ... from what I understand ... they come in all sizes. Some bigger than humans ... some smaller ... ;) So 6mm - 8mm, etc., won't be a problem ... ^-^

It's the difference between a human who is 1.80 meters tall and one who stands 2.40 meters tall.

This is interesting! :) I very much enjoy painting my 10mm Warmaster so some 8mm spessmarines will probably be quite nice :)
