Agreed. I suspect it won't be difficult to find someone for you to match with

Soo... I guess the question is whether that's a plasma Annihilator or not.

The Imperator Titan showed up in a couple of pieces of artwork a few days ago here.

I wouldn't be surprised in they release one for AT in 2021.

I don't see why people are seeing an imperator here, its clearly not that big and there is no citadel on the carapace.

My guess is a warlord nemesis.

FW keep saying when asked at events that it's unlikely they will ever make an Imperator, as to do it justice they would make the model around the height of a 40k Reaver - which is roughly 40cm tall and costs £1,000 so you'd expect an Imperator to be in the same ballpark. They'd rather spend their limited resources allocated to the game on multiple smaller titans instead.

In 2nd edition the Warlord's largest Plasma weapon was the Plasma Destructor and the Imperator had the Plasma Annihilator. They screwed up the naming when they released the 40k Warlord and called it's weapon a Sunfury Plasma Annihilator so who knows what they'll call the Imperator's plasma weapon if they ever release one. Presumably they'd have to come up with a new name for it.

New titan looks interesting. Perhaps a new larger than Warlord titan that has all plasma weapons?

I don't necessarily think that the brief glimpses of the model shown in malika2's post are an Imperator, but I do think that it is significant that the artwork from the Warhammer Community site shows a new style warlord next to a modernized Imperator.

Based on the size difference between the two in that illustration, I don't think that the Imperator will be quite the size of a 40k Reaver Titan. Based on the image, the Imperator will be twice the height of a Warlord (measured to the top of the central tower). That puts the Imperator at about the height of a 40k Warhound Titan (maybe a smidge taller), although not as massive.

Just to note, that image isn't new nor is it even new to being posted by GW (pretty sure it was a cover for one of the HH books but regardless, it's from the early timeframe of that series). People seem to be making it out to be some big deal when it's just old commissioned artwork.

I see now that the image of the titans on parade is from the cover of the book The Burden of Loyalty, which was released concurrently with AT in 2018.

The close up of the Imperator face is from The Binary Succession, which came out in March 2017.

The same imperator design shows up on the cover of Titandeath from December 2018, and on the not-yet released Mortis.

In all four cases, the images are consistent. I suspect the artist was working off of a design provided by the model studio (but not necessarily a model intended for release).

Someone shared this link over on the AT Subreddit it stitches together several of the images to go from arm to arm:

Looks very cool! Given The size of the joints and armour plate, I feel, places this as at least Warlord in size.

Thanks.

Looks like the scaly looking Warlord there is in one of the illustrations on Adeptus Titanicus and Codex Titanicus books, so it is probably another try about saying we appease to older players by bringing things from AT to AT18 that look like AT only at glance, like with the Warlorld and the Warlord Warbringer in AT18.

there's a gun in its foot, why would I not be shocked if the toes are infantry transports! In all seriousness it looks warlord sized to me, I do think FW could do an 8mm AT emperor class, here's a link to custom build that shown off by GW https://www.warhammer-community.com/202 ... tor-titan/

Well confirmed they're mining that old AT artwork with a new class based on it, the Warmaster

jimmy do you have any links to the old AT art that inspired this? Also it looks a special level of goofy to be in theme with the HH, then again only in 40k would we have something like this.
