Hey guys

If you've been to Forge World's website recently you may have noticed that the Aeronautica Imperialis tab has disappeared from the main page. The A.I rules have been folded into the Epic Tab. Upon further inspection the Eldar Phoenix bomber has disappeared as well...

I know some folk here have close ties to Forge world, is this a sign that we should make those purchases we've put off whilst we still can?

FW certainly have no plans to expand their Epic range.

I'd give their sales line a phone call and just ask.

This is disappointing because this summer I picked up some Eldar Phoenix from FW and they came in the 'new' plastic clam shells with the insert entitled "epic scale Eldar Phoenix".

I foolishly considered the use of the new packaging to be a hopeful sign.

I am sure FW/GW were having an issue with the 28mm masses accidentally navigating to the AI stuff in a quest for the Imperial Armour Aeronautic book. An emergency upper managment meeting was probably held discussing the 'crisis' that some 28mm 'marks' may be drawn to the more playable and economically rewarding smaller scale games by this exposure so everything was merged into the Epic 40,000 'closet' to prevent any imagined loss of sales for the overpriced/overproduced 28-30mm line.

Just spoken to them and they're still there if you use the search function for the word 'Phoenix'. Looks like they were just misplaced when they rearranged the website.

yeah if you actually click the link to the model page, it comes up with 404 not found...

I mentioned that to them as well, it's the same for a lot of the Epic stuff, the chap managed to replicate it on the website too. As there's only one photo for everything I guess it's just important that the 'Buy Now' button works.

The Phoenix is back, guess being a Captain does give you some pull.

I just do not understand how can they have an error like this for many days now.

e.g. AI thunderhawks have also 404 if you click on them, but the page is there but the link is wrong.

This is a very sloppy job, whoever did the restructuring.

If this happened with the full sized reaver titan, they would have changed it in 5 min.
