What horrors lurk in Wargaming Hell for Eric Bell?
Which Dark God lurks at centre of this Stygian realm?
Who is pulling those strings?

Quote:
“Curis takes you to the darker reaches of wargaming’s twisted psyche and the gibbering madness within. Then you find out he makes comics, which is pretty cool.”
Brian Solomon

Ahhhh, that must be why he's missing an uncharacteristically high number of tournaments this year.

indeed it is - he's away for 6 weeks or so. I know he Was gutted about the timing of it, but did mention that I should meet your good self & was singing the praises of all your tournament experiences most heartily!

just like to say your book got me more than the occasional odd look as I laughed into the purple tome on the train home. Not least the comment you put in when you signed it! Its a great work, even having read a lot of them before. ;D

Great to put a face to the name, and thanks for the kind words on the painting!

Thanks for popping by Paul, great to meet you at last. Sweet to see your stuff in the flesh, especially with the cute Logan Grimnar. I've added your blog to Ninjabread's links section.

I really enjoy reading the book too. I thought I'd be sick of looking at the strips by the time the book was published, but there's something about having them in a different medium that makes them a little bit new again.

Good to see you Meph! And nice to see you in a tie Ben. One of your crew dropped by some "business cards" I'll be having fun with.

Yeah I heard that happened... looking forwards to seeing some pictures perhaps? :-)

Our new releases from the day should be hitting the website by this evening, we had a great day and will definitely be back even bigger next year.

The Ninjabread Physical Manifestation Area © materialised in London this weekend, for England’s biggest wargaming show. Over eight thousand members of the wargaming public bore witness to many square footage of wargaming comics, and had the opportunity to laugh or look slightly confused at a stand that contained no actual miniatures.

The ExCel centre in London is a mahoosive venue you can drive articulated lorries around this inside of. Hundreds of pounds of entrance fees had bought a pair of tables and two chairs.

And pow! With the liberal application of boxes of comics, posters and glue the area had become a festival of all things Ninjabread. Everything about the ExCel had changed, even the person standing to my left’s gender.

It was great to have so many people pop by for a chat, to buy a poster or a pre-release copy of Punishment of the Dice Gods. Thanks to tweeps Domonet, Heresy_Andy, inrepose, J_Plays_Games, JohnnyHawkwind, MarcUpdates, peppermint_cat, pyroriffic, Silent_Spectre, wartrader and yorkwargamer for their hellos. Great to put names to faces, and hug some of you.

Andy “@yorkwargamer” Taylor popped by
and got me to sign a piece of gingerbread.
Maybe he hopes to eat around the signature
until only the ink remains?
