Todays article update on the GW site actually had a few epic models in it. After nearly falling out of my chair in shock, I decided to use those pics to segway into sending a bunch of my own in the (admittedly tiny) chance they would get posted on the what's new update sometime. If anyone else has anything to send, perhaps now's the time!

Why did GW put flat borders on their hex tiles?!

Without the border you get a MUCH bettererer visual illusion (and can still easily see where the edge is).

Anyone used them for an epic campaign?

They did it so that the tiles could be both textured, and double sided.
It gives the tile something flat to rest on when assembled into a map.

Makes sense, I think it was a mistake though :(

I know, shameless plug, but GW did a SG emphasis on the what's new section and they used one of the images I sent in. :) It's not much, but hey, it's a little plug for epic and BFG!

I've just been looking at prices on the UK website. Has every item for the Eldar always been £12 or has someone made a mistake when updating the prices?

Wow the SG prices have gone truly high.

Deathstrike missile is up to £12.30 for one, and SG Valkyries are now (By 5p!) more expensive than FW Valkyries... the SG Warhound Titan is £17, when for £1.40 more you can have a FW Reaver Titan or two Warhound Titans.

Just, wow.

I'm I'm I'm speechless. Nearly. I never thought they'd acknowledge SG anymore.

Also, notice how they couldn't help plug some 40k releases.
