So I couldn't find my old thread (never mind that resurrecting it would probably agitate a few people) and the one I started on the wiki is killded, so let's start a new one.

eBay/trade bragging time, what have you gotten recently that was a great deal?

I recently secured the following guard NiB for $85 USD

2 infantry companies
tank company
artillery company
characters
chimera
baneblade
thunderbolts
vultures
sentinels
storm troopers
deathstrike

I kept the storm troopers and sentinels and sold the rest at $75 to Matt (captPiett) who's been wanted to do an IG army for awhile. I did the math and I think it came out to be 70% off. :p

Just netted Fulgrim for the sum of £2.90 on ebay, he was just listed generically as an epic demon.

Assuming the model's ok once the crappy paintjob has been stripped off (he is snapped off his base-tab but I care not as I clip this off and re-base to BoFA bases anyway) then I'll have myself a bargain.

I shopped very victoriously lately. I won an Ordinatus Golgotha for only $12.51US!   It was listed under 40k, not Epic, which is probably why I got it so cheap. It has a decent paint job, so I'm going to leave it as is for now.

Got me an original Mk1 metal stompa on ebay for the pricely sum of 99p! Watched a set of three go for £31 a week later

A few weeks ago, I landed a boxed, complete banelord titan for a fiver.

I saw that go! Glad you got it.

Landed 2 MkII Warlords from a "buy it now" post for $40 (including shipping) a month ago.

Was that the standard Mk I or the alt (possibly "Games Day") model?

As a side note, U.S. buyers should definitely log in to the U.K. eBay site if you are looking to buy.  There are significantly more listings and "rare" Epic bits tend to show up there and no where else.

Got myself a fair bit closer to my "a missile launcher team per two teams" IG force.
Three untouched E40k IG frames, for £13.33 (inc postage).  :agree:

The only difference I am aware of is that one has a straight mouth,
and one has a jagged mouth.....

Which is the standard, and which is the Games Day?

As to the original topic:

I won a warhound titan for the princely sum of $6-

Imagine my chagrin when it was an armorcast model,
not an epic one....
