Ok, so, I noticed that some internet dude was voted most influential person (in the world). Not a big deal, everyone understands the vote was rigged, blah blah blah.
I would have filed that in the circular file in my head, except later I came across this story:

Now, the journalist states that this isn't the source's nickname, but still, isn't it rather random that he used a username of a guy that posts here? or is this just a case of me not getting the reference?
