Is this the response you got from GW CS or are you telling us because GW accepted your offer to host it?

Ummm, both.  

GW have agreed to allow me to host the new forums. Then, when the UK site went live there were a couple of technical issues with the SG site, leading to the decision to go ahead with the transfer as soon as possible... and catching me a little off-guard.

Just a quick update... As you can probably tell, things are not going exactly to plan! The data format is an (unforseen) issue between GW and myself, and we are trying several methods of converting it. GW and I are working on this, and have been for the last couple of weeks. At this stage, I dont know when it will be resolved. I apologise for the delays with this.

I'm sure everyone appreciates all of the hard work you've put into transferring the data over to the new site. I wouldn't be overly worried that it is taking you a little longer than originally hoped.
