Hi Guys, I was wondering how many people saw the total lunar eclipse last night? ?Not as spectacular as a solar eclispe of course, it was still rather cool regardless. The kids and I watched it in the front yard, my darling wife brought us hot pancakes and the dog got into the spiriti of things by howling at the moon too! I took this pic about half way through, which I thought might interest you - interestingly, a 5x zoom isnt much over 3 miilion miles! ![]() |

Well it went very red immediately after the eclipse! Official pic from an Australian Observatory: http://i35.photobucket.com/albums....pe2.jpg |

Shoot, I forgot all about the lunar eclipse. It probably slipped my mind because I would have had to have gotten up at 5 AM, two hours earlier than normal. |
