'everything done NOW bad enough' - I don't think it's unreasonable to ask questions or complain when the review is over 2 years late - and has been, to all appearances, stagnant for the last three months.
?'If you don't like the pace of things, fix it yourself. ?That isn't mean or aggressive, it is simply the best solution.'
- certainly - and as I, and others, have posted above not possible as Greg is the only one - as Epic Rules Champion that can make such a review official.
I haven't got time to put in a layer of sarcasm or a ridiculous poem to show how clever I am at the moment so will edit the post later.
Uhm, okay then.... Well sorry if you took my posts at being directed at you. They weren't. If I wanted to say something nasty to you I would have just PM'd you.
My comments were meant as COMMENTS. My opinions. I think complaining about everything being 2 years late and having no solution is a waste of everyone's time, not to mention about 1 1/2 years too late. That doesn't mean YOU, Steve. That means everyone.
My feeling is that the Rules Review is NOT 2 years late. It was still being discussed up to late last year and I think a lot of good things came out of those discussions. So that means it has been 6 months since the bulk of the discussion died down. So Greg / Andy / Jervis / Chaos may be 2-4 months late, but not 2 years. Keep it in perspective.
And I may jump to Greg's defense too quickly out here but I will tell you why. Greg at a minimum cares about the game and the players. Even though I never met him,. he invited me to come play with his group down in Memphis and even offered to come pick me up. He is a human being like the rest of us.
But I am also a realist and offered some alternatives for people who hate waiting.
Btw, my 'ridiculous poem' is a book I read my three year old. The message is not lost on her so I am dumbfounded why it is lost on you. <-- THAT is aggression.
