SM, IG, Eldar are easier, but Squats and Orks ... take a lot longer ! And I'm still working on how to do my 'Nids !  Not to mention Tau & Kroot ... and of course Chaos Beastmen ... I still have a lot of Grunts to paint ...

Hi!
Chaos and squats are tough armies to paint too, lots of detail to cover.
I dont know about Tau and Necrons though, they have lots of armor/exosleletons, they seems easier to paint.

...An easy way of painting Orks is just to ink over Goblin Green, pick out the clothing & guns in black, drybrush the guns, and then add some red or white details to suit...

Yes, like with Orks, I base coat everything black and wash, dry brush and detail as needed. Infantry in power armor (SM & CSM + Eldar) are the easiest but I still have lots of troops to paint !

Hi!
I prefer a grey primer as undercoat, I find that black makes the subsequent paint job too dark.

I prefer it dark ... but I've base coated with dark gray and then wash with black. My universe is dark ...

Ooo, scary stuff! I undercoat in black as well - always seems to come out better, plus if it is REALLY dark then perhaps people won't be able to see my awful painting?

..Yeah, black is good for most things- it makes shading easier if you are feeling lazy, and metalics come out very well. I do tend to add a thin coat of white over it though if I'm going to be painting flesh, red or yellow...

I'm surprised E40K did so poorly but I think the E-A results are promising IMO. ?NetEpic results are no surprise ...

I'm not sure, it just seemed I've heard a number of guys on this site and Yahoo, mention they play it ? Go figure ? I like it better than SM2 but that's my opinion ... so it means little. I voted "hybrid", as we all know ...

Hi!
I base it solely on sales figures and its failure in the marketplace. All other versions had considerably better sales than epic 40k.
I wager Epic A will beat epic 40k in that department, it was that bad a seller.
