If there aren't any list or modles for something, then make it up yourself.

Most of us aren't talented sculptors or have ability to mass produce their creations...

I can understand Steves anguish at the lack of support from Specialist games and Games Workshop in general, when you've accumalated 40,000+points of marines,20,000+points of guard, over 20 metal titans,6,000+ points of orks and loads of other stuff all painted using GWs paints/glue /flock etc. and ?all bought from GW/FW then you want ongoing support.

My stuff has been bought and painted over the 12+ years but Steve has bought a full marine chapter,8,000+point IG army,a massive AMTL army,6,000+points Tau ?(each army is still growing) all from GW/FW and 2 ?or 3 Chaos armies from ebay all since EA was released. When you include the cost of paint, glue, flock the models themselves and the time invested (your talking over a few thousand pounds). ?I can see why steve gets annoyed at the lack of support which has been constantly promised but then faded away.

Oh come on everyone! They've all been working really hard at SG this year - think how much time it must have taken to put up all the prices! :D

Seriously, how can a Reaver, sculpted in 1988 need another ?3 price hike this year? When they first re-released the Mars pattern, I paid ?12 from Mail Order, then ?15, and now they want ?18!

Still, it's all good, because of course the extra cash will got towards re-designing the Chaos range, won't it? ???? ?

Regards,
Reaver

Why not? Because they don't care enough to do that. We all know that GW isn't willing to put any effort into supporting Epic. Leave it at that. Getting angry about it won't chage a thing. And getting angry at Andy (or anyone else for that matter) for perceived injustices is just pointless. If you feel that strongly about it why not send him an email and see what he has to say for himself - rather than crapping on him on the forum. For that matter, why not ask him to explain to all of us just what his job covers. That way we all know when he has 'dropped the ball' rather than giving him grief over what we think is his job. I would do it myself but...I just don't care that much. And for the record, your comments do sound rather spiteful - that's why I commented in the first place.

I wrote a decent sized post agreeing with Steve and explaining why but  the forum swallowed it up somehow? so anyway I agree with Steve, and as to writing emails to Andy I have done just that a few times over the years, his replys to me are always child like innocence and or company gobbledeegook mixed together, later this led to no replys at all and most recently my emails were bounced back to me as undeliverable. I did try it tho.

Ah well. It was a good try. I just thought I would try to keep things even, but I'm done now. At the risk of sounding inflammitory, can we stop beating this dead horse and move on to something else now? In fact, why don't I go start a new topic as a place to compile all the Epic scenarios we can find? I'm going to go do that.

Man, work is really boring today...
