No, he's just beardy......  :p
Ok, that's a painful one. Sorry!

You'll see once the competition results are out - if I win ( :p ) you'll see the official version; if I won't (as expected) you'll get some new pics here of Biker Riker D (see, he's even got a name now!). Sorry Justiniel, no pics just now   :(

And he has no beard, although he could do with a shave .......................

This is BTW just typical. The first competition I wanted to enter had too strict word limit for my needs(there was just one thing that inspired me enough but that alas couldn't be fitted to limit regardless of how I tried to cut it). Now this and...Of course digital cameras are broken :-(

Darn darn darn darn! Ah well. Not like I would have won anyway

Well there's still a couple of days to go so you might be able to borrow a camera tneva :;): By any rate we'd love to see that you had in mind posted here on these forums if you don't make the deadline.

Well I've finished my entry. Some of the paint job is a bit rushed and clumsey but what can you do... Now to snap a few pics tomorrow and then tidy up the text a bit. Not that it is very good anyway but I then again I'm a modeller nd not a writer :D
Once done it is time to get to work on that GothiComp entry... :p

Come on Tneva, scrounge a camera from somewhere.
Meanwhile, on the Maltese front, I'm just trimming his whiskers for a photoshoot.

....later....

Done! Now I can relax.

Hmmm - Epicomp begins soon... d'oh, relaxation is over! Huzzah!  :p

Like where :-( I don't know anybody with such. And with weekend coming makes it harder.

Oh wait there's that mothers camera he got as part of mobile phone deal he got...Only problem that is some crazy small company whom I have never heard of before nor could find drivers or any other programs to transfer pictures to computer. Pictures that would be dubious use at best. Oh and nevermind that camera TOO broke down  ???

Not to mention that without camera I haven't had inspiration to finish conversion(especially since 9.9 I'm moving to England so I wouldn't have any practical use for model for over a year) and so haven't got anywhere suitable material I would need to finish up the weapons(turbo-laser destructors). Nevermind painting. Or writing background.

I'm really pissed off. How on earth can all cameras I could lay my hands on broke down within small timeframe anyway? Couldn't take any pictures during ropecon  :( . Missed epic tournament. Missed epic games. Missed SST tournament. Missed SST mega battle with 5.5k armies against each others(that's a LOT of arachnid warriors!).

Stupid cameras

Must have been some sort of EMP pulse to hit Finland   ???  :O

Moving to England you say? To study or...?

As a side note I just sent in my submissions. Alea jacta est... I guess there's little to do now but wait and see (oh, and plan what units to get just in case I should be so lucky as to win anything.

Or rather I'm magnet for malfunctions

First camera just plain refused to start, other starts but sometimes doesn't activate the screen, always fails to take picture(sometimes it starts to focus and then power shuts down) and when screen IS active constantly states replace batteries despite brand new ones. Guess some sort of power circuit malfunction.

And yes I'm going to Huddersfields university to study information technology(software engineering to be precise). 3rd year of my school will be spent there. Since school is very supportive for foreign studies(and EU as well) making it very easy I figured what the heck. This could be usefull for the future :D

Maybe I can get game or two of epic as well. I figured I could pack my space marine horde(barring titans and, alas, flyers) as well. Those fit into very small box afterall   Just pity I have to leave rest of my stuff out. As fun as it would be to take whole epic collection it's not really practical when I can't fit all of it into 2 big luggage bags to begin with. Airline company might have "issues" if I try to bring all of it along. Nevermind clothes and other truthfully ESSENTIAL I have to bring along.

Hmmm... could you just package your figures securely and just ship them to your new address?  That way you can take all the clothes you need... *and* all the minis too!  *laugh*

AND pay big pile of cash for postage . Not to mention my parents probably would concider me crazy...Not to mention I don't think I would dare to trust post office to get packet safely into there. We are talking about collection of 70k+ points worth of models with lots of rare hard to find models like knights(Imperial and Eldar), Imperator, Mega gargant and whatnot all the way down to 1st edition(nevermind those 12 beetle-back warlords). I do NOT want to have that lot be damaged :D

Nah. I think I will use my time and start new army instead   . If GW gets it act together and releases chaos...Well instant new army. Or I could just try to scrounge England for used epic models. Maybe England has more of those lying around than Finland and if I'm in England maybe I could get those without credit card. That would be really cool.

Well, good luck for the move to UK then, Tneva. And good luck with the Epic hunt - I tried it on a short holiday, without much success.

Ok, I'm curious Warmaster - which army?

Model converted, painted, and based. Really pleased, looks great. Then I had to write....

This fluff stuff is harder than it looks isn't it?
