It was a good reminder for the Warseer team to make sure they have good technical backing: from the sounds of it, a lot of harm was possible because of the way they handled their backups! They've needed to update things for a while now, I think, in terms of server infrastructure, moderation, and content layout—from what I've read, it seems people were nearing retirement from such demanding volunteer work. It's good to see they're back and hopefully the new team carries through with their enthusiasm! Let's hope the users also pick up some of the optimism and friendliness.... |
