How interesting. The black lining queen's lips and nose are very similar to Yen's...

Classic way to enhance your succes with 40k Marines is to add new dot to your dice, new middle-one for face that has 2 dots. That makes those 3+ armour saves lot easier, and you hardly ever get caught.

Some may not like the idea of painting "sweat shops" but if they earn an amount comparable to their region, I can think of far worse and more hazardous ways to earn cash other than painting.  Nobody ever lost a hand or their life painting a miniature (unless there is a horrible super glue accident out there that I am unaware of).  $1 a day sure beats the hell out of $0 a day IMHO.

I still like to paint my own though.

They are paid considerable more than a $1 a day. Niel set up in an Export Processing Zone which has minimum wage, pay progression every 6 months etc. As he's an honest sort of chap he is actually holding to those regs and the amount of training he gives means he wouldn't follow the factory practice of making sure everyone is fired before the 6 months is up even if he was that sort of chap. I believe the starting pay is 5 times that of a traffic policeman (we were amused to discover, though of course the girls working for him can't ask for bribes). Though he does moan about the amount of tea and biscuits they consume and lunch they munch :)

As a side note he keeps a very funny record about his battles with corrupt officials as one goal is never give a single bribe, much to officialdoms annoyance!
