you may think that, but I couldn't possibly comment...
actually a lot (well some) of what is on the GW page is in fact inaccurate and does not always need to be followed, just because GW says so...
For example

A photograph of a GW miniature does not infringe their IP.
A photograph of a GW publication does.
You could not confuse a photograph with a miniature, and you are not pretending that your photograph is a miniature.
You do not need to (as far as my knowledge of copyright law goes) credit the IP of the miniature on a photograph. GW has written quite a complex and inclusive policy and it would be hard to build a site not in violation of it in some way or another. |
