Cyber

Just noticed that you have updated the front page of epic40k.co.uk, however would it be possible to add  links to the relevant articles direct from the front page rather than trying to work it out for ourselves...

I quote
Also this time around we have yet another Epic Armageddon battle report, complete with fantastic pictures of the       game in action.

I have to admit I wasn't quite sure where to find this, as the top menu doesn't have a link to Battle Reports.

I guess wrong first before clicking on Battle Groups. I was then faced with a list of Epic Armageddon Battle Reports and I wasn't sure which was the newest... I guessed the top one, but thought I had read this one before!!!

They are excellent battle reports (the detail and photographs are superb), however my minor quibble with the "direction" a surfer of your site needs to go could do with a little help.

Just my thoughts... (I remember having this conversation with Tuff on his update page as well about a year ago...)

Point taken, Jimbo. I will add links starting with the next update. I must admit that not putting direct links is a semi-concious decision. When I have not been able to find something on www.epic40k.com and been clicking around, I have often ended up reading something cool that I didnt even know was there. ?:;):

EDIT: I just thought that this would also be a good time to explain my thoughts behind the navigation.

The Library - general stuff not involving playing the actual games, but around the games (so to speak)
Battle Groups - stuff about and after your games
Additional Rules - stuff that you could use during a game
Scenarios and Campaigns - stuff that you could use to base your games on

Does this make sense?

Glad you liked it, that refinery took a long, long time to put together and paint.

Ahh, I do love "cut & paste." ?Others have asked me about these models before, so here's a run down on the kits I used:
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

The models used are: (all are N scale Rail Road pieces)

1. Walthers Cornerstone Series "North Island Refinery" 933-3219 (Man
was this ever a chore to put together, largely due to the fact that I
decided to paint it!)

2. 2 x model power "Twin Oil Tanks" No.1569
(I still need to put the walkways and railings on them.)

3. Faller kit#2131 (no name on the box, but they are the taller,
thinner, twin oil tanks)

All of these didn't come cheap however ;)

If you're interested in obtaining these models here's a site that you
might want to have a look at:

Discount Model Trains Online
www.discounttrainsonline.com/

There are some other interesting kits there. I also have a "Power
Substation" (made by "model power") to assemble some time in the distant future.

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
