Hello, First the question: When I log on I click to have my log on remembered. Yet each time I return I have to log on again. I do not clear cookies so what am I doing wrong? Suggestion, the intro post needs to have a place where I can "bypass" it. Having to go through three screens just to get to the forums when I am on a 56k modem is a pain. Last Suggestion. Please make the text areas white with black type. The black with white type may look good for short periods but for reading it is harder on the eyes. OK enough of my suggestions. OK, thanks for your comments. If you are not being remembered, that might be that your browser is not allowing cookies. Are you using IE6 (a common problem with this MS browser), and is anyone else having this problem? The intro post thing is temporary. In a few days, I will get the 'forums' link set to the main page (I assume that you arrive from www.epic40k.com). I just felt that it was good to have an introduction to the change to start with. You can get to the main page by clicking on 'EpiComms' in the grey box at the top from anywhere in a single click. As for the white on black instead of balck on white, I am afraid that this is one of the limitations of the system. The posts are stored in their colour. I could change the post colour, but old posts would be in the grey. This could cause all kinds of problems. Sorry, but this will need to stay. If there are any other suggestions that would make this easier to read, please let me know. Thanks. |

Primarch, Well, I looked at the place you talked about. I noticed there was a place for me to designate "exceptions". Well I put this site as an exception and it worked. It has remembered me every time so far. dafrca |
