It's just occurred to me that my campaign battle reports may get on some peoples' nerves because I am going to be playing a lot of Epic over the coming weeks and reporting on it all (thereby completely taking over the battle report thread for NetEpic). Is it possible to combine the threads? I'm just thinking it may be better to have just one thread, perhaps entitled "Epic War! Campaign Battle Reports".

The two threads posted so far are;

viewtopic.php?f=85&t=24711

and

viewtopic.php?f=85&t=24714

Other than reposting and re-uploading the pics, is there an easy way I can do this?

I don't see the issue personally. Having separate threads helps to distinguish each battle, and also means that replies are confined to the one battle in question, which seems like a better way to encourage discussion to me. If threads get too long and unwieldy, fewer people are likely to read them, especially if they haven't been following them from the start.

Hmm, that's good, glad you don't think it will annoy! How does everyone else feel about this?

It may help to point out that there are another 2 battle reports waiting in the wings, expect there to be another mid-week! Battles are coming fast and furious!

Seperate thread for each is best I reckon.

You shouldn't feel bad for posting reports! It's great to have them and a shame not many do anymore

Cheers Glyn, I enjoying posting them but I love even more to read those that other people post! Love seeing other people enjoying the game and keeping it alive!

I was a bit worried as well that my reports are getting a bit samey - there's only so many ways of writing "they moved here", "they fired there" etc, plus obviously with a lot of pics people will be getting very familiar with my terrain. I suppose if they do they can ignore the posts though!

Oh, and a quick question as well - I like to take the aerial overview shots of the battles to try and let people get an idea of where everything is. Do people like these, or do they prefer more of the closer up "action" shots?

A bird's eye view works best on the whole, because it lets us see where units are in relation to each other more easily.

You could do close action shots for certain key events in a battle if you want to have some variation.
