| Post subject: | text field issue when typing posts |
When I post a reply (particularly if it's a quoted reply) I get an extremely annoying situation where if I try to highlight a line or two to correct/change etc the text field screen keeps skipping upwards so I lose sight of the lines I'm trying to write on. No matter what I do I cannot keep the field at the place I'm typing. I have to manually scroll down to get back to the line and then it skips up again. Is this a known issue? It's bloody irritating! |

Try enabeling the "Compatibility View" feature on your browser, the icon looks like a page that is ripped in half. |

There is a Danish warhammer forum called http://www.powerfist.dk, where we had what sounds like the same issue that you discribe, and one of the Admins created a guide to fix this, please check if its the same issue. Which browser are you using Dobbsy? If it's IE, then there are sometimes compatibility issues with some forum software, so you can either switch to compatibility mode as suggested above, or try using a different browser. |
