At the moment there are two different "Epic Background" sub forums, one for EA and one for NetEpic. Does it make sense to have a single fluff-related forum rather than two? |

The two backgrounds do diverge a little - NetEpic has Squats! I would want to keep the EA background as 'official', and so a merge would really be dropping the NetEpic background forum. |

Actually the last post in the NetEpic Background forum was 2009, so I suppose it's no problem to merge them or remove it! |

Plus the NetEPIC Necrons have a completely different background in NetEPIC. We also have Slann! |

They do if the two backgrounds are not exactly the same, which they are not. |

welll, slaan and squats are still discussed in most w40k forums, even if they're no longer canon. If we have to split off a background forum for each retcon that GW executes it will get untidy. On the other hand, neither get a lot of traffic, so keeping both is not harmful either. |
