Whither the NetEA website?

All it needs is a page explaining what the NetEA is, plus a download link for the Army Compendium 2012 and the FAQ 2012.

I can give the appropriate webmaster access to the NetEPIC.org CMS, it's dead easy to use and they'd have full control over all NetEA content :).

Not pretty yet, but almost ready for content when it is publishable.

As soon as I get the document from the NetERC I am happy to, but it's their call.

Looks like there was a crossed wire between myself and the NetERC. I was waiting for a final version to be pointed out to me. They are letting the current version 'bed down' for revisions. Anyway, I will get on finding a home for the Compendium on the web site.

Update - This is largely complete. I am currently reskinning the main page (which is just as painful as it sounds) as, after a bit of research, I have found that the current theme is less than ideal and doesn't have many features. The new theme should have breadcrumbs, etc.

A page for each faction, with notes explaining what each army list is supposed to play like

some tactics articles (like the one's we have here)

Supplements, scenarios, stories...

Past editions of SG and Incoming!

Gallery, modelling sections

Basically the edited highlights of the forum.

Is it a blogger site? My experience of running my schools website was a pain when I tried to write it all in HTML and maintain it myself, but since I installed the wordpress software on the server and handed out jobs the whole thing flies a lot easier. We have a couple of admins, then the other teachers and office staff set up as authors. The office keep the dates and news up to date, the music leader posts songs etc, the teachers post work and hone work etc. I don't have to do much anymore, no one has much work to do and it keeps up to date.
Could the same logic be applied? A couple of people keep race pages up to date, a link to the main files etc is kept up to date, we have a link to people's blogs etc. I don't know if any server based management software is used for the taccoms site or is it done in dreamweaver/contribute etc and uploaded?

That's pretty much where I am going with the main site. Once set up, each page will just be added with a couple of tags. The site itself will be able to organise content according to the tags, so when you select 'Epic Armageddon' from the menu, it automatically presents you with all articles tagged with 'Epic Armageddon'. So, a new page is added and automatically catalogued.

It's just the initial setting up of the colours, themes, layout, tagging, breadcrumbs and menu system (not to mention the web hosting) which is front loading the work.

Sounds very similar, teachers at school can tag by year groups, classes, subject etc then if you choose a tag you are presented with all the content that matches. Will you be creating all the content, or will you be giving some sort of author account to others to help you build it up?
