OK, I am opening myself to ridicule and cries of derision from people who have known this... like.... forever! However, I have just discovered the use of a multi-quote on these boards. For those unaware, that is the ability to quote several different posts from different people in the same response post. To do this, quote the first post that you want to respond to. Then, in the post construction page, under the text entry box, the rest of the thread is displayed. There are 'quote' buttons on each post and you can add quotes from other posts to you response there. Its neat, and I just noticed. Doesn't it just fill you with confidence in your admin! |

Wow, never noticed that. I've wasted so much time copying and pasting from multiple quote tabs! |

That is quite amusing CS ![]() In your defence, however, it is yet another of the rather strange quirks of this type of forum software. Multiquoting, or inserting quotes is less counter intuitive with some of the other software options available. (This isn't a dig about the phpbb system by the way, just an observation). |

This is why I just cut and paste and stick people's names at the top. ![]() |

It's nice to have the option, but I hope it doesn't get too much use here! I've seen it overused, like here: http://forum.planet-f1.com/index.php?t= ... start=200& |

The opening multipost is perhaps a bit much, but I'm personally more impressed by the fact the quotes are nested six layers deep by the second page. Someone have mercy on the poor soul who tries to read that. |

I knew it all the time. Did you know that we Maltese reset the passage of our time to start again when we start reading a forum thread? Such as this one? |
