apologies, I didn't quite mean to phrase it that way. More along the lines that perhaps now is a good time for a re-organisation to show that Epic is still going strong. Perhaps a more dedicated Epic tournaments board could be included.

As for the wiki, you could always canvas the board some more, run polls etc. Maybe spin it as the successor to the De'Aynes gallery?

I'd agree with this, EpicUK tournaments have been growing in number - 5-6 years ago double figure was brilliant now 20 is a regular occurence with many events selling out, massive interest in forum-ware (80% of PMs I've had are from non-active board members), lots of interesting modelling projects on TC etc. If there is one area where traffic has dropped its list development - most people I know who stepped back from that said they were fed up with there being no end result and rehashing the same debate every year with no conclusion in sight.

Lots of big posters have gone from development, but not epic, and I imagine if you step in once in a while, as I get the impression Carl does, then it does seem like things have dropped off when they don't see the old names

Just a quick note, guys. These boards will be unavailable for maintenance tomorrow (Friday 29th July 2011) from 12.30pm (UK time) for a couple of hours. I will be working to bring them in line with the new site behind the scenes - no structural changes or anything that you will notice right away. It is my aim to only keep them offline for a couple of hours, but this may spread across the weekend as well if it becomes more complex.

i didn't realise it was available till this thread and I'd been intending to move my plogs across.

Yes. Nothing will be removed at this stage at all, and I will give good warning when sections are removed or relocated. However, the current blog system will be removed shortly, so I wouldnt necessarily go and start up a new one yet, unless you want to move it across later.

Update: I had originally intended to carry out these changes after completing an upgrade to the SG boards. The SG upgrade is taking longer than I thought it would. Therefore, the planned work on these boards for 12.30pm today will be rescheduled for Tuesday 2nd August at 10am UK time. Sorry for the alterations.

Welcome back. Stage one is now done. The aim is to integrate these boards with the main site. I would be grateful if people could test two things for me:

1. Can you test logging in and out? Logging in at either the main site - www.tacticalwargames.net - or here should result in being logged in to both, no matter where you logged in. Could a couple of people test this and let me know what they can and cant do?

2. When you are logged in on the main site, can you check and let me know what you are and are not able to do? Right now, I have disabled pretty much all functionality on the site, so you shouldnt be able to do much at all, but it would be good to know if I have missed anything.

Just a note guys, that the first attempt or two may be more difficult. The first time that you log in to the main site, it syncs your account over there, and so your login may not work until the second attempt. Personally, I can log in at either place. Logging in on the main site logs me in here.... but logging in here doesnt log me in at the main site. I will look into it. Thanks guys.
