Help! Is there any way to disable the automatic subscription to threads you start or reply to? I keep having to unsubscribe from everything, and it is a pretty arse-about-face way of doing things! Much better to turn the default off, and let folks subscribe to a thread if they want to. The current setup is driving me crazy by filling my email inbox. <<Clicks off the auto-checked box under the message field as he posts this topic...>> |

It's buried in your user controls somewhere. Apparently, if you turn the option off, no one can subscribe to threads ever. Which is arguably worse. |

Board preferences > Edit posting defaults > Notify me upon replies by default (Overview > Manage Subscriptions; also useful) |
