On my screen the borders are about half of what I see. (about 950 for forum, rest border on a 1920 width !! )

A rather significant waste of space, there is nothing in the side borders...

Any chance of making it user flexible or self adjusting to window size ?

zoomng in does work.

the low contrast will still be trouble for older eyes though.

Yes find it a bit difficult to read at work due to the contrast.

Legibility/speed of reading will get slower the longer you make the text lines over what is already here [*citation needed, go Google line length and legibility]. Coupled with the text contrast, reducing legibility further seems like a bad idea.

Nope. Just tried to add a picture (177k) again and again the internal server error. Seems I got through with a text message (now removed) but pics did not work.

*Have tried Firefox and IE. Same issue with both.

The SG forums had the same issue. Was there a permissions problem there that was causing the problem? Might be a similar issue here.

Not really sure what the problem is. The screen has some sidebars. Its not really a usability issue or causing problems. I think that some of you are used to a particular visual style and are reacting to the lack of similarity. The sidebars don't cause any problems in and of themselves.
