New look and old logo, very classy

is there any way for users to alter the styles? I really don't like large banner images, they clash with my minimalist aesthetics and take up valuable screen real estate. in the old forum i was able to use adblock to disable the image and the screen snapped upwards, but this new style leaves a banner-sized black space, which doesnt help much.

personally, i'd rather have no banner image, and have "Tactical Command" be the link to 'home' followed by members and search, in the top bar (where the current user info is) with those elements aligned to the right, and the user info aligned to the left. being able to reduce those images would save me over a third of the initial screen (meaning less scrolling to see new posts) and would reduce bandwidth demands upon both your server, and my connection.

i like the colour scheme (though i don't see any value in the border edges along the sides being as big as they are, they can serve a purpose at half the size without impacting so much on the amount of space for the forums to actually be forums...)

honestly, i think any style change by any website like this should come with an option to revert to the old style, where possible. some users will prefer it. i know i'd rather not be irritated every time i visit taccoms...

I do rather agree on the side borders being rather bigger than needed. But otherwise, I'm a pretty big fan.

With the green/grey it is very hard to dicern unread from read threads. That threads i looked into have grey thread titles and threds where i hadn't looked into have green titles is more confusing than helpful.

And yes the borders are wasted space.

But so far i like the new style .)
