I feel for you.

Its nothing that I'm not used to.

At least on this Forum there are a large number of moderators so I can let someone else take the flak for having to make decisions that get people POed :-)

Of course with the Mods sporting signatures like:

Well, I see your concern. The problem is, I simply don't care, anymore.

I am sure the number of members geting POed at the Mods will not get large at all. ???

Keep your head down PG and with dorks like this MOD calling to be the target, you will be fine.

I am absolutely flabbergasted that a Mod would have a signature like that.  :O  If he no longer cares, then he should step down as a Mod.

I've already seen this one and a few other mods sporting other strange or disheartening sig lines.
having said that tho, Most of the mods on the SG forum are acting okay so far as I've seen. Grim

For the record, my brief perusal of the new forum has so far made a single term pop into my head - Train Wreck.

Made my day, this one did!

No one said they all are bad. In fact, I am not even saying this Mod is not a good Mod. Just that with the changes and the enviroment, it would have helped to keep this kind of stuff off the Mods posts.

When the tension is high, you want the Mods acting in the most professional way, including the things they say and do in their signatures.

Well with the way things are going again with Epic, it's easy to see the malaise ...  However, let's admit it, if S/G-G/W dropped all Epic support we could still function on our own.  Making rule and unit suggestions, etc., and if need be even buy other makers (GZG, Scotia, etc.) 6mm models.  I've been Epicing since '90 and have 9+ Epic Armies, so I wouldn't have to buy anything.  However, for newer players, there would be other options ... :)

L4, you're absolutely right. I survived one epic "nuclear winter" and I'll survive others. We are quite capable of supporting epic without GW's support. Heck, isn't thast why netepic was created in the first place? Don't get me wrong, have new minis come any,  any new minis, is wonderful!

What bothers me the most about all of this is that E:A started out with such good plans and hopes for the future. Now, the future is uncertain. I can honestly say that I have no problems waiting for new minis; I'm used to game companies constantly pushing back release dates. I just hope GW evetually releases what Jarvis was hoping to accomplish for epic, considering this might be the last hurrah for "official" epic support.

I think we are on the same wave length.

I just know that some times what is perceived is as or more important then the reality. Right now the fan base needs to be assured all will be well.

I find it odd and funny that a company that seems to understand Marketing as well as GD seems to, that they would not understand how something like how a Moderator acts or the image they present could impact the final image.

Oh well, not my problem.
