My assumption
If you upload pics to the new gallery then the pics will be stored on the netepic/epic40k.com server thus you should be able to link directly to the images from these forums.
Blackorc.com does the same thing
and here is a little test ?
This is one of my images I uploaded to Blackorc
Edit Note: test over; image details replaced with image from my own server - it is unfair to utilise other server's bandwidth for images to be served on another server (ie epic40k.co.uk). I am making an assumption that Tom won't mind!!!
Can you see it?

It's an Ork Trukk with Krooz Missulz (aka an Orkish version of the Imperial Deathstrike Missile Launcher, but I use the Krooz Missulz rules from the Mega-Gargant.
The model is built using a Flakwagon base, a firing platform from a Pulsa Rokitt and the Krooz Missulz, well it's a 40k scale Fighta-Bommer Missile.
