Just tried again. Nope no luck. Checked the image. Seems alright. 177 K. jpg. No funny filename. I don't get it either.

It does seem strange. It seems that some attachments have been uploaded to threads - for example, the 6mm painting board - so it's not a server or general board issue.

That means that it is either an issue with the specific board/thread, or the picture itself.

Yes, but I get the same issue with other jpg pics too. For instance, I tried to upload a different pic to this thread and got the same enigmatic result. It seems to be something with my account and/or specific threads.

It appears that this picture works when decreased in size..... so I will double check the settings. Clearly there is a limit that is set too low.... I will continue investigating.

It looks like this is a server issue, not a board issue. Just to let you know that I think that I have a handle on this and I hope to have a crack at fixing it very shortly.
