A potential new member made an enquiry about his account over on WarSeer: http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthrea ... and-forums.

I asked him for further details, and he has yet to reply, but I thought I'd make you aware nevertheless.

Well, an account with the same username as the poster over on Warseer was activated, but hasnt been logged in since October 2005......! But the account remains active here nonetheless.

That's curious. The only thing that I can think is that perhaps (s)he lost his password to the old account and created a new one with a different username instead of trying to recover their password.

Hi and sorry for the delay. I currently have a list of about 6-8 members affected by this. Current action is going through a previous backup of the boards to see if I can over-write new member accounts with old information and reinstate the accounts and re-link the posts. I hope to at least have an answer if this can be done, soon (by next week).
