Well, being an Epic newcomer, I was wondering if you fine folks had websites with images of older Epic stuff? I've been to De'Ayne's Gallery and Felix's Gaming Pages, Stuff of Legends doesn't seem to have an Epic section... any others?

Stuff of Legends has ALL the old catalogue pages which have the models on
http://www.solegends.com/citcat911/index.htm (look on right)
or for example Capitol Imperialis

Those 2 are the best that I can think of Jimbo.

If you want to see anything specific Hergrmir then ask- somebody here will have one!

De'Aynes is PURE Epic, I don't see how you couldn't find any Epic pictures!

List me what you want to find, and I will send you some links, if we have to required pics.

Cheers

Chris

Sorry for the poor writing on my part. I mean, I have been through De'Ayne's and Felix's, and spent a while going through everything. And there's great stuff, inspirational stuff, and lots of stuff. But I also happen to know there's more stuff. Specifically, I was looking to see the Eldar, Squat and Chaos ranges in their full glory.

And thanks for the SOL link, I'd been there, but the GW section didn't have the Space Marines/Epic link up; I'd never thought to check the catalogue.

Doomwings, Firelords, Slaanesh Daemon Engines, old CSMs.
I'm looking into a lot of those for purchase, and just want to see them before they turn up on my doorstep, so I can anticipate assembling other than ranks upon innumerable ranks of Guardians. 78 and counting...

"The Fanatic Studio is looking for a group of talented painters who are interested in painting models for us to take photos of and use in Fanatic magazine, the Specialist Game rulebooks and on our website. What we?re after is models that have been painted by accomplished painters and real gamers that show-off a wide variety of painting styles and alternate colour schemes."

blah blah blah...

"Closing date for all applications will be the 31 st Oct 04, with people being notified in November."

So, if you're willing to enter the epicomms contest, why not send a copy of the image to Specialist Games?

Jimbo:
Would it be breaking the competition rules to submit pics of a mini both to the competition and to Fanatic (which we have no release date for).
I can understand if the extra exposure of a pic in Fanatic mag mught upset the "exposure" balance but what are the "official rules stance" on this?

Cheers!:)

edit: Hmmm... I just re-read the add. Since the pics submitted to Fanatic appears to be for internal use only I don't suppose it should be any problem. Sounds very interesting though. Getting the newest releases for free in advance to their official release doesn't sound like too bad a deal IMO ;)

It shouldn't be a problem.

With the release schedule of Fanatic mag, I would be extremely surprised if anything that you send in today appears in print before the end of the competition here, so it shouldnt influence the decision at all. Although, it might be best not to actually mention if you sent an EpiComp entry in and if you got feedback from Fanatic, but I think that this is covered in the 'no discussion' rule anyway.

They're currently editing issue 8 - Nothing submitted now will be seen for a good few months to come!
