That should be fast and brutal, and not unbalanced, imho. Rather dull, though.

Hey guys, For the next regularly scheduled battle of EPIC:A me and my opponent are switching armies. So I'm going on a WAAAGGHHH. I never played the orks before but I'm going to have fun. I need some help putting an army list togethor. Right now my thinking is many small fast units. My experience playing against the orks is that my forces just have too much firepower for one warband to take. If I take smaller ones a lot of his firepower is wasted. So this is the Imperial Army Regt HQ Hydra Inf Co Fire Support Platoon Hydra Tank Co Hydra Storm Troopers Valyries Artillery Battery-3 Balisks Thunderbolt Formation Thanks |

Thamks Neal, I don't think I'll be playing orks that often that I'll get bored.  This is a rare rush of orky goodness. I'm tempted to drop the KOS for a Landa and replace one of the fighta-Bombas with a ten unit stormboyz mob. Any thoughts |

Recently been e-mailing US Mail Order to arrange an order with them, I asked about their archive epic stuff and whether they were planning to keep it round with the release of Epic Armageddon. The Hobby Specialist replied to say that the old epic stuff will go off sale on February the 2nd (not entirely sure if he meant the complete range or just some of it though) and that any old moulds that ware out till then will not be replaced e.g. I was going to buy a few of the old revenant titan models but the mould for one of the legs has died. Thought I'd buy up on the old epic stuff whilst I still could so sent in order for 500+ bits, just thought the rest of you guys might want to know about it too and that if you want anything from the archive you had better be quick before its gone forever... Just talked to G/W US, they told ?me it won't be until 16 Feb.04 ?!?! ?  ?Not unusual that there is conflicting stories from G/W ! ?So yes, Storm (and Tas, if you want to add anything) send me your list and I will make the order Sunday. ?They will let us preorder the catalogues we want here in the US, so we will still get the free shipping and save $7 or $8 USD ! ? I think this is just a marketing ploy to makes us buy the new E:A models at INFLATED prices, if you are a "newbie" and want to play Epic ! ? ?Or G/W just wants to reduce their inventory worries ... there is a lot of Epic bitz ! ?So another nail in the coffin ...  ? ?
