I don't know if this is the best place to put this. I'm moving for the following four months to Vanvlak's land, so i'm expecting to do at least some battles against their necron army. After thinking about it, i thought about sme background for our battles, so there it is. Also, i hope that we manage to make some BR, as it would be very difficult for our armies to see each other again.
Atlam's invasion
The planet Atlam was discovered a few years ago by rogue trader Julius Kaeron. The place was a true mistery, as there were lots of ruined buildings and archeological hints that it was once the home of an advanced species, which had converted it's planet in an almost invencible fortress, but there was no trace of the species, and the planet's ecology seemed broken, as if a major catastrophe had annhilated almost all life forms.
After receiving news of the place, the High Lords of Terra dispatched an Ordos Xenos investigation team to set up a base in Atlam. The team sent files with it's discoveries every six months... until last time, when an emergency automatic beackon reached the imperial navy satellites. As Atlam is relatively near ork-controlled space, an invasion force was quickly assembled to fly to Atlam.
So here they are, a fastly built force, comprising 1st Xenophonian Regiment, Yuber Okami's Irregulars (an strange hodgepot of survivors of other nearly-destroyed infantry regiments, volunteers, mercenaries & even aliens and mutants) and three heavy tank regiments. Also (although not depicted) there is a Leman Russ Tank Company.
And there's the air support, the pride of my epic collection. Do anyone guess in which camo scheme did i inspire to paint them? Does anyone know the banner?
