Hey! New Rules PDFs areup in the vault. Thistime with corresponding images to the unit stats! Some very nice stuff there; Valkyries, Vultures, Gunwagons and unless my eyes decieves me: STORMTROOPERS! Unfortunately the pic isn't very good but still more than enough to tease! I can't wait to see them up close! Cheers! |

Wow... I'm very impressed, the Vulture looks great and I love the quality of the new art and the presentation in general... Can't wait for the full release! |

I have noticed two things. In the data cards for the commander, it just has a banner mounted on a tactical marine. Does this mean the characters aren't going to be on the new sprue? If so that is lame. The second is the release schedule in the FAQ (nice to see much of my gripes are printed in there! ![]() Anyone see a problem with this? |

Yeah. If the new 1 army/year schedule is really on, it's a problem. But the new minis are cool. ![]() |

Looks that way :\. If you look at the IG commander, its just a couple of Guardsmen with banners. I'm guessing they will include some of the characters (eg librarians + chaplains for SM, commisars for IG) but ditch the command squad supporting guys (techmarines, apothacaries, standard bearers), and just use a stick on banner for captains, IG commanders etc. |

As I have said previously, there is nothing wrong with the current sprues. ?As a matter of fact, I think they are excellent. ?The idea that you'll have just enough to make whichever formation isn't really accurate as there are different possibilities and who knows what troop selections each person will make regarding his force. Instead of retooling all the infantry sprues that should have just updated the plastic warlord. ?I will never win on this but I know I am right. |

I have just had a look at the files, as I am looking forward to it a lot now! All those new models! And, in the Titan Legions section, I believe there is proof that the old reaver is coming back! Cheers Chris |

Indeed Stormseer, I bet you won't get that many new Warhounds though ![]() I wish they would do a metal beetleback...as the plastic one is never coming back into production ![]() Cheers Chris |

Yeah, think I'll get one to start me off and convert it up a bit (that head gun will go for a start) ..if I like the results, I will probably get a couple more seeing as I don't really want to be shelling out ?9 for one FW model, though I doubt the metals will be that much cheaper sadly.. ![]() ...I'd love a few more beetlebacks- I can't see how Fanatic can _not_ bring one out though, seeing as the Reaver and the new Warhound are also in that 'old' stlye... ![]() *crosses fingers.. ![]() |

Hi! The second is the release schedule in the FAQ (nice to see much of my gripes are printed in there! ) that I'll have to wait till 2006 to see Chaos. Guys, I have lost a alot of interest in Epic now, and I doubt I'll really care by 2006. Chances are, I will have moved on to a completely different hobby (as of right now it is hiking and camping. . .). |

It seems a shame that once Chaos comes, then it will be 2007 Necrons, then 2008 Tau. 5 years till mass produced Epic Tau! No thanks! What happened to every 6 months like we have been told for ages? It seemed like we were going to have a decently running system once again! And now there is talk of AT2/3 being full printed and a new "air combat" (Read "Bombers Over Da Sulphur River"2) game. Simple route to sucess - Get the models back into production, get the army lists done, fill in any gaps, then Necrons, then Tau, then all the other games. Simple strategy, could be done easily in the next 3 years, not 5 or however many it takes as currently predicted Perhaps we should be running fanatic? Cheers Chris |

....If only we were in control! ![]() ...However, the real reason for the delay is the obvious one I'm sure- MONEY ...Fanatic has a small budget anyway, and I'm sure even with the strain of this new game, the financal chaps at GW havn't exactly been showering them with resources- thus, the setbacks etc.. A new charity should be set up perhaps- The SEA -Save Epic Association.... lol... ? ![]() I look forward to Epic going from strength to strength over the next few years, though it would help immensely if all the armies were out more quickly- with this time scale for releases, new players who like other armies than IG, SMs & Orks are going to be put off rather quickly... ? ![]() |

According to Jervis the molds for the beetlebacks were lost long ago, so there won't be a metal version |

I beg to differ - he told the EPICentre that a Beetleback was being seriously considered, as a different pattern for the Warlord. Mars pattern perhaps? |
