It looks great, to have something that appears to be a "plan" ?! ?But "Baghdad Jervis" holds little credibility with me ... ? ?  ? And it also appears I'll have extra models, since we have no idea if anything will be sold separately ... if so, I'll let you know ... ?

Yep, they've removed the duplicate list. Also Jervis said the valkyrie\vulture pack should say 4 of each model. |

I am really looking forward to the Stormtroopers and the Valkyrie/Vulture packs. I love the preview pics, and want some! The SM pack lists 32 Stands...does that work out to be 4 Tactical and 2 Devestator Detachments? If so, I think it will be one very good boxed set! Still, I would like to know some prices now! I think it will include some assault squads, since assault squads aren't listed under the blister packs. Dunno how that works out in terms of whole formaations though. Maybe 4 tactical, 1 assault + 1 devastator? (and presumably some characters to goin some of those stands). |

I was certain Assault squads were going to be done in metal...obviously not! However there will be NO characters on the SM sprue, as if you read the painting epic models section of the pdf rulebook, it says so! Cheers Chris |

Hmmm, I guess we have to wait for the "space marine character pack" listed for a November '04 release  Edit: I just read the painting section, it says "The plastic sets of Epic infantry produced by Games Workshop do not include models for all of the character upgrades". I interperate that to mean it includes some of them. It also goes on to explain how to paint a commisar differently and add some banners to use it as a commander model. That fits my previous theory, that they will include: commisars for IG, Librarians + chaplains for SM. (since these are kind of hard to convert). Where as for IG Commanders, SM captains\supreme commanders and Ork WarLords, all you have to do is add some banners to IG infantry\tactical marines\nobz. (the photos in the PDFs show examples of this). |
