Hi guys,

I'm putting togethor a blue print for my space marine epic force. ?I brought the forces back when I had a grandiose dream of assembling an entire Spece Marine chapter. ?My aspirations are slightly more down to earth this time around. ?

I am envisioning a smaller battle company sized force, supported by vehcile and elite units but not many of any one kind. ?This is a elite support to my IG regiment. I was wondering if it's a strong pool of forces to make army list up to 5000 points. ?I most concerned with the fact that I have enough tacticals. ?Here is a listing of forces.

Teminator Det
- Landraiders
- Supreme Commander

Tactical Det in Rhinos
- Hunter
- Commander

Tactical Det in Rhinos
- Hunter
- Commander

Scout Det
- Sniper
- Commander

Assault Det
- Commander

Devastator Det
- Razorbacks
- Hunter

Bike Det (1)
- Commander

Bike Det (2)
- Assault Bikes x5 (I have a lot of these guys)

Landspeeder Det (1)

Landspeeder Det (2)
- Tornado x3
- Typhoon x2

Predator Det

Vindicator Det

Whirlwind Det
- Hunter

Thunderhawks x3

Imperial Navy and Titan legion support are already avialable.

What you think. ?

Thanks and take care

It's a well rounded force, but you may need more infantry and I see no dreadnoughts ?  ???

Are you planning to field it all, or is that just what you want to have to choose from?

It's a good list either way.  I see it as a full battle company and the 8th (assault guys on bikes/speeders) company with strong support.

My marine army is very similar, but with 2 battle companies, so I should like it. :D

It's the pool to draw from. ?

The landspeeders have been reduced to one formation of 5 Tornados (old models) after checking the model inventory again and I have 4 dreadnoughts to distribute as I see fit.

I was just worried that 2 tacticals was enough of a core of infantry.

Thanks

I would strongly reccommend a couple more. They are some of the most versatile units in the game & from what I've seen, you cant have enough  :D

In my playtest games recently, I've basically started to use Tacticals as my main force, adding other units simply to keep the game interesting (an all tactical army could probably defeat most foes, but would be boring as hell to play either with or against!)

However, if this pool is drawn upon for small games (2K and under) then 2 will be enough.

me being a noob placed this in the wrong place earlier, hence Im making a thread here where its more fitting.

Okay, me and a friend of mine are working on a game which will involve Knights vs Knights battles, however I have not been able to find any rules for Knights for the current edition of Epic.

However I dont want to get this website in any copyright troubles of IP problems, so if it is illegal to post these rules here, please let me know. However if it isnt or you people dont have problems with it, could you please post them here?

Thank you!

Hi. IP means that we cannot post any stats or any reference for GW products. However, these lists are freely available from the Specialist Games web site. I am not sure if they are currently around, with the move of web sites a few resources are not yet available, but you are looking for the AMTL (Adeptus Mechanicus Titan Legion) force list.

Good luck.

Yeah problem is that the stuff on the specialist games website doesnt work that well yet, well I checked out the AMTL list from here which is suitable as well for my project.

Just a slight point to make sure it is clear:

The AMTL WIP List is the list from the "Offical" site. This list is being developed by the "offical" Champion and will become an offical published list once it is done being play tested.

Did not want to be unclear or give the illusion that they were two different lists.
