Gotta say, I’m super excited!

I have to ask, what are the plans for the guys that run the tournaments here? Are you going to keep going with Armageddon, or see how the new rules turn out? Obviously the new game is going to bring a lot of new blood into Epic, so worst scenario here is that the new rules are shit, but everyone feels compelled to play them because they have a GW stamp on the cover.

The Epic Armageddon tournaments will continue as is. Might lose some players but gain others - hard to know overall if numbers will increase or decrease. Will aim to have tournament usable lists in time for the 30k factions too.

I expect some other people will start running LC tournaments too

No plans to switch in New England, I think two boxes are being purchased in our group of 14 core players? The rules would have to be a tighter EA to see any adoption here.

It's known it is a reboot of 2nd ed (well, a mix of 1st + 2nd) for a long time.

I hope it brings new movement and new blood to Epic. Not to this forum as it is quite dead anyways, but who knows.

FWIW, I'm planning to get into Legions, but I'll be continuing with Epic. The extent to which I play any games will depend on whether I can ever get an army painted...

I've been playing EA with just cardboard cutouts, so I'm hoping the new Epic does the original fans right and be successful.
