Hi All

Please find attached a quick attempt at an American Civil war list for Epic Armageddon.
This was written with the sole purpose of getting some die hard ACW war gamer (my father) to finally have a game of EA with me.

Please note that the points values and entire army selection bit is very loose. Was just for completeness really, actual games will be done based on scenarios. I even forgot to include the Field Commanders in the army selection bit, but probably one per 1000 points makes sense.
I just thought I’d have fun adding in the naval craft, probably a bit much for 15mm battles!

The veterans I am not sure about at all. Need some tweaking or writing out entirely. Could just be represented with the initiative values.

This is actually with 15mm models in mind. All the special rules for the conversion are included at the bottom of the army list.

Let me know what you think / any good ideas you may have for it!

Indeed! Great awesome idea! I've been toying with adapting the rules for WWII and Cold War 85 for a long time, maybe this will give me inspiration!

Yeah, I like the basic rules a lot and think they could be applied very well to all sorts.
I’ve used them with individually based 15mm figures with some slight changes and it works very well as a company level game too.

Utterly and completely uniterested in ACW. But I must say i found it an interesting adaptation of the core rules.

0cm coherency
Black powder rule
Dragoons using the transport rule
The anti popcorn rule (-1 initiative on all tests done consecutively)
Troop quality

Almost makes me want to try.
