Just a thought from a game I watched/rule-look-upped tonight. I was remote, we talked (and I watched) via cam and voice through Discord. Would a Discord "server" for Epic:Armageddon be of use? Free to use, real-time multiple-channel group text or voice chat with a text archive, separate voice chat rooms for games (or arguing about TLOS versus infinite height, or whether JimmyZimms really is Lion'el Jonson or not, whatever you like). I can set it up with no effort and give/share mod powers to any reputable smartypants from here/ERC/EUK/whatever if that's beneficial. I've never used Slack (first I heard of it was about the Vassal/online games thread) so I don't know how much that makes this a duplication of effort, and I simply don't go on Facebook, but I'm often on voice in Discord and it seems like a nice group-centric thing to get people more channels of communication to get more involved in playing more Epic. Playing more is a good thing, isn't it? |

I am surprised myself there has never been a IRC channel. Not interested in Discord: it is popular nowadays but doesn't really have any decent advantages and has several drawbacks |

There is an Epic Discord already it was advertised on /tg/. Most of it is hobby chat no real games being organized a lot on this forum use it already. https://discord.gg/szKxyu |

Current optimum online hobby experience for me is playing warhammer total war multiplayer campaign with voice and hobbying away in the other player turns. |
