Simple question:
Does a Cobra D-Cannon ignore Knight Shields?

My own take is that it doesn't, as it specifically says void Shields and Power Fields in the text. If true, then a follow question would be, if it wouldn't be logical that it ignored knight shields as well?

It should, given the fluff for it. Its rules were written before the Knights had much development though. I'll add a note to the Knight Shield rule next week.

Agreed Dave.

The knight shield is directional where the D-Cannon (and other Ignore Cover weapons) are more 'omni-directional' hence their special ability.

Message from PFE100...

Hi Guys,

This was discussed way back when I did the modification to the Beil-Tan list on want it would effect(Ok can't see it now since the hiccup).. but I kept it to the void shields and power fields and over period of time, would add the other types in when doing modifications....I thought it should ignore the following items back then..bases on want I have read on the weapon etc...

1) Void shields
2) Power fields
3) Deflector Shields
4) Now Knights shields

and maybe the following..
5) Shadow fields
6) Halo fields

cheers
Greg
