Just to note as the title is misleading somewhat: It's less that daemons don't cause BM for being destroyed in the RAI; It's that they have expendable as a blanket rule, defacto in the faction rules. Really that was one of the stupidest decisions ever made in EA but I digress.

edit: stupid as 1, Expendable as an ability works fine in all cases and 2, it's easier to simply redact Chaos lists to state, "unless otherwise noted, all daemon units have the Expendable ability" instead of , and 3, it causes trouble for specialty lists where deamonic units, some type of demon leader, should count if lost.

Personally I'd of dumped that faction rule and simply add Expendable for the base stats for all deamons (as the TP has done- though it keeps the redundant faction level rule in place).
