Post subject:  Questions regarding EpicUK Armylists
Hey there,

as I could no find a suitable thread, I am now starting a new one. Basic idea is "questions regarding Epic UK Armylists", be it clarifications, spotted typos etc.

Question 1:
Is it inteded that the Tactical Detachment in the Codex Astartes list cannot take the Land Raider upgrade?

Internal balance of the list and the thought that a later list might go Land Raider heavy.

Answer 2: There is a review of the Necron's list underway.

This will be followed by a larger review of the LatD list with a view of splitting it into a Cultist and PDF force list that has gone traitorous.

Further to this we wish to release a Sisters of Battle Army List.

Work is being undertaken on a Gargant List, but this does not have a completion date as yet.

Any plans to look at the Ulani, Blood Angels or Yme Loc? All seem a bit meh compared to their "parent" armies, and definitely underpowered compared to the newer post-GW ones.

I thought yme-loc was already planned for review this year? Will be disappointed if not. :(

For the Ulani list one easy fix would be to replace on of the regular tanks in the 400p core choice with a command tank. That would make the unit a little better.

I was going to make my very first try at army list creation, "updating" the EpicUK Ulani Tank list (well, not very original, nor actually army list creation).

My main thoughts are:
1.- moving Conquerors to core;
2.- removing Regimental HQ formation (and adding the option to upgrade one of the command Vanquishers in the army to SC);
3.- Adding Stormsword to SHT options.
4.- Adding Assault Gun Platoon (Thunderer? Medusa? )
5.- More options for Medium Artillery Support
6.- Armoured Fist Platoon??

Good one. Instead of adding the 7th tank, upgrade one of them.

Sorry, been super busy. I've looked Lord Bruno's list - IMHO it's a big step in the right direction for Ulani. I've added some comments here : Konig Tank Regiment Imperial Guard Army List http://www.taccmd.tacticalwargames.net/ ... hp?t=30784

The issues I have with Blood Angels are two fold : the death company and 6 strong assault formations are still not as good as terminators. I'm going to start a thread.

I don't know much about Yme Loc. I've made a list a couple of times with plans to using my eldar in a new way, but never got round to it. But certainly the championship page seems to indicate they are a little uncompetitive with 3 great players not doing too well with them. They seem to forgo a lot of what makes BT amazing without much to compensate.

This seems common to many of the early "niche" armies, they seem to be made just a little bit weaker to stop them being called out as OP. Anyway, I'm sure many more experienced than I will be able to analyse the list more effectively.
